Announcement
Attributable narrative: what Veritan announces about itself, its platform, or its systems. Carries the company voice and date of publication.
News is the attributable public-release surface for Veritan: a durable index for company developments, platform announcements, and other externally meaningful updates when they are formally issued — in sequence, with permanent context.
This index publishes attributable Veritan updates as they are issued — in sequence, with permanent links to the supporting company, platform, evidence, and trust context. The absence of entries is a deliberate state, not an oversight. An empty news surface is more credible than an invented one.
Not every development meets the threshold for a public release. Veritan distinguishes between internal progress and externally attributable events. The following classes define what would appear in this index and what supporting material each class is expected to carry.
Corporate events, organizational changes, or identity updates attributable to the company entity. Includes legal entity changes, jurisdiction, or formal corporate actions.
Platform interface changes, new capability availability, or significant architectural developments that are externally meaningful and attributable.
Versioned releases of public platform surfaces, APIs, developer tooling, or specification documents. Versions are stable references, not draft announcements.
New attributable evidence artifacts: a public record with a verifiable provenance chain connecting the announcement to an inspectable record.
Public trust posture updates: certifications, security audits, disclosure artifacts, or formal changes to the public assurance model — only where they actually exist.
Veritan maintains an explicit distinction between news — what the company announces — and evidence — what the company can demonstrate with an attributable record. A press announcement is not evidence. Future news entries will connect to supporting evidence where it exists, and distinguish clearly where it does not.
Attributable narrative: what Veritan announces about itself, its platform, or its systems. Carries the company voice and date of publication.
The supporting record: an attributable artifact that can be inspected to verify the claim made in the announcement. Where evidence does not exist, the news says so.
The assurance layer: whether the connection between the news and its evidence has been formally verified. Trust is a separate assertion from news, not included by default.
